First Responder Appreciation Month

FPG communities honored local heroes during FHH's First Responder Appreciation Month, bringing residents, volunteers, and team members together to recognize the police officers, firefighters, and emergency responders who serve our communities every day.

What began as a month-long initiative quickly became a meaningful expression of community appreciation, highlighting the power of connection, gratitude, and service across our communities.

Throughout the month, residents and volunteers found thoughtful ways to support local first responders. These efforts included delivering breakfast to nearby police precincts, organizing weekly visits to fire stations, and sharing homemade treats as a heartfelt thank-you. These gestures helped strengthen relationships between first responders and the neighborhoods they protect.

One of the most memorable moments was a resident event for Neuhaus in Spring, Texas featuring fire truck tours, which gave families an up-close look at emergency equipment and a deeper appreciation for the dedication behind emergency response. Experiences like these created opportunities for learning, connection, and shared respect.

The spirit of Flournoy Helping Hands was evident throughout the month, with participants showing generosity, enthusiasm, and genuine care. The success of our First Responder Appreciation Month wasn’t measured by the number of events or deliveries, but by the lasting sense of gratitude and unity felt across our communities.

Through collective effort and shared purpose, FPG was proud to honor local first responders while bringing neighbors together in a meaningful celebration of service and appreciation.
