Since the Adopt A Nursing Home campaign was such a success, Flournoy Helping Hands (FHH) decided on a similar campaign for the month of April, Adopt An Animal Shelter. With this campaign, each Flournoy community adopted a local animal shelter making weekly visits to spend time with the animals and to assist with clean up and any other items the shelters needed assistance with. Our associates walked dogs, bathed puppies, organized supply closets and so much more. A few of our communities also hosted donation drives to gather dog & cat food, toys, kitty litter, blankets and other needed items for their partnered shelters. We even had two associates adopt rescues!
As all of our FPG communities are pet friendly, our associates have an extra soft spot for our furry friends and it shows with the success of this campaign.
