For FHH’s Adopt A Nursing Home initiative, each Flournoy community chose a local nursing home to partner with for the month of November. Our teams made weekly visits to spend time and engage with the residents of each facility. Our goal was to brighten the holidays for each resident as this time of year can be a lonely one for so many of them. Our teams had the best time joining these inspiring seniors making flower bouquets together, leading candle making classes, crafting fall décor, painting pottery, playing games and so much more! Our teams helped celebrate birthdays and milestones and were able to share laughs and reminisce on the old days. This November, lives were touched, friendships were made, and memories were created. Because of this, most of our communities have plans to continue their regular visits to their nursing homes and incorporate this new partnership for future campaigns and events.
