Human Resources Generalist

Shannon Barton has been employed at Flournoy Companies as a Human Resources Coordinator for 10 years. She has been in the human resources field for 20 years. Having worked mostly in the area of Benefits Administration. She is very familiar with benefits related to medical, disability and life insurance. As well as worker’s compensation and Family Medical Leave. She is particularly experienced directing the administrative functions in Human Resources. Works daily on improving policies/procedures, audits, reconciliations, reporting, and billing. She provides administrative support to all employees. Shannon served as the United Way Campaign Coordinator, American Cancer Society Team Coordinator and served on the SHRM Hospitality & SHRM Public Relations Committees. She regularly attends benefits and worker’s compensation seminars to keep up to date on current changes. A strong believer in customer service and professionalism, she strives to maintain excellent internal and external relationships.
