Vice President

Scott has worked for the Flournoy Companies for more than four decades in varied positions. Currently he is serving Flournoy Development Group as a Vice President, working in accounting. Scott began his career with Flournoy in 1981, working on a grounds crew while earning, through the University System of Georgia and Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, diplomas, certificates, and licenses, in Turf Management, Ornamental Horticulture, Arboriculture, and Pest Control. As he advanced through various leadership roles, he organized, trained, and managed an in-house landscaping division with a staff of more than 350 personnel on 88 properties. As the company grew, he transitioned the landscaping into a workforce of more than 100 companies, supervising projects and contracts, and directing the purchasing of all landscape materials, equipment, and supplies. Scott was the primary landscape designer for 141 developments, and he managed the landscape construction on 125 sites. He holds formal degrees in diverse areas, including computer programming, data processing, humanities, and business, and is a licensed private pilot. Scott is a summa cum laude graduate of Troy University with a BS degree in General Business.
